You Think It’s Over

Well here I am again. I wanna talk to you about something. I call it, “what’s the value of a learning moment” or learning experience.

This young lady decided that she was gonna enter a contest. They had to work on a project and there was multiple schools from multiple different areas. And then what happened was, there was an elimination process.

What would happen was, this girl’s team didn’t even make the semifinals. My thoughts were this, what is the learning that you get out of that? Is that if you’re competing and you’re not winning or you don’t finish, you just pack up your stuff and you go home. You take your marbles and you go home. You don’t support the other teams that won?

The best thing to do is to stick around. Find out what the winners won and how they won. And also to support the other people. So I just wanted to pass that on to you. Take care.
